HOW IT WORKS

• Cleans: PigRenew® cleans and flushes like a mechanical pig, while reducing the risk of becoming stuck. It dissolves over the course of the run, or at the location of a blockage.

• Migrates: PigRenew® is a water-soluble, granular product held together by a polymer. When dissolved, the solution is heavier than any production fluids or solvents, allowing it to migrate to blockages.

• Penetrates: PigRenew®’s solution has a low surface tension that allows it to penetrate the area between blockages and pipe walls, as well as any cracks or crevices in the deposited material.

• Neutralizes: PigRenew® neutralizes the charge associated with paraffin stickiness.

• Reacts: PigRenew® reacts with the portion of oil that contributes to acidity, creating a simple soap. This soap helps break the paraffin apart, enabling it to be pumped.

ADVANTAGES

• Effective: PigRenew® is aggressive on paraffinic and asphaltenic deposits in reduced flow pipelines. It will penetrate and remove very hard deposits from pipe walls in temperatures ranging from 34 ̊F to 190 ̊F.

• Preventative: PigRenew® leaves a micro-resistant film to help prevent accumulation of future deposits and provide a barrier against corrosion.
